It simply looked too good to miss so I decided to stay here and see what happened. It was a great decision. I enjoy an active, social lifestyle, especially involving the Ocean and the environment.
In 1995 I was delighted to be appointed as a Civil Marriage Celebrant in Byron. Allowing me to offer and pioneer the way in unique and more contemporary weddings in many stunning locations.
Annually from 2004 there have been many new celebrants appointed.
I am very fortunate now as most of my work comes from this website or by recommendation from couples and other wedding professionals.
For most of my career as a busy full time professional celebrant I have been celebrating not only marriage and commitments but also birth and death.
All in a gentle, meaningful and appropriate way. It is a great privilege and delight to be a celebrant within a community and be so involved with so many people and families, both locals and visitors.
Over this time I have been fortunate to work with around a thousand couples in a multitude of different ways. I have developed a great insight and understanding of most aspects of celebration, ceremony and people, especially the most subtle layers.
I belong to National and State Celebrant organizations.
I also enjoy mentoring newer celebrants and teaching Celebrancy to others, studying and writing articles and books on the subject.
Often I am invited to speak on ABC radio or other media on related topics.
